We are thrilled to announce that Marty has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Mail & Business Centers, and has just begun serving as the Board’s Secretary.
Before transitioning to a n
ot-for-profit entity on January 1st, the AMBC was formerly the Associated Mail & Parcel Centers (AMPC). The organization has been the retail mail, shipping, and business center industry’s leading trade association since its founding in 1982. Its mission is to provide its members “the opportunities for success through advocacy, education, resources, research, and programs.”
Marty was nominated because, with over 20 years of experience in the industry, he really knows his stuff!. He is certified by the Retail Shipping Institute as an advanced packing expert, global shipping specialist, commercial mail receiving agent, and freight shipping specialist, and even carries a Master of Retail Shipping Management degree.
In fact, this past year, Marty was recognized as one of the top experts in the field and was asked to be a panelist at the inaugural MPC Masters Summit. He continues to contribute to industry forums and publications, teach certified packing and shipping courses at national and regional events, mentor other store owners, and is now honored to serve on the AMBC Board.
