As the busy season winds down and we begin our summer hours, we are grateful for all of our dear customers that have trusted us to pack, ship, and store their stuff during their moves within, to, and from Ithaca. To those who have just graduated, we will miss you! To those who are on their way, we welcome you! To those locals who remain, we appreciate you! Our commitment to the Ithaca and Cornell communities continues to remain that of convenient, friendly service and, while we have broken every record there was to break over the last few weeks, we look forward to much more growth in years to come.

GRADUATION & MEMORIAL DAY HOURS

We’re very excited to be in the middle of the busy season with lots of storage coming in and lots of moving boxes being shipped out. Records have been broken multiple times already this month and we are thrilled that so many Ithacans have discovered Uncle Marty’s!

We expect graduation and Memorial Day weekend to be very busy, so we’re announcing extended hours:

Saturday, May 26th: 9-5

Sunday, May 27th (Cornell University graduation): 12-5

Monday, May 28th (Memorial Day): 9-5

As it’s a federal holiday, there will be no DHL, FedEx, or USPS pickup or delivery on Memorial Day, but Uncle Marty’s will be open just the same. See you soon!

Sunday is Earth Day. As always, Uncle Marty’s is happy to reuse your clean and dry packing peanuts, bubble pack, air pillows, boxes, and other packing materials. After all, reuse is the best form of recycling. If we can’t reuse them, we’ll do our best to recycle them. We’re also happy to recycle your used toner cartridges, metal keys, and print custom print jobs on recycled paper whenever possible. It’s easy to make greener choices and we value your help and input on how we can all do a little bit more.

Uncle Marty’s is your efficient, economical, and professional choice for break and semester storage and reservations for storing at the end of this semester through the summer are currently being booked.
